The rol
We are hiring an Alliances Manager to build and scale our partner ecosystem across AWS and a focused set of high-leverage distributors, VARs, and SIs. You will own the strategy, the relationships, and the execution. This role blends GTM planning, partner development, operational discipline, and meaningful revenue contribution.
What you will do
Key responsibilities
- Own the full alliances strategy across AWS and priority channel partners, with clear revenue targets
- Build and maintain high trust relationships with AWS PDMs, Account Managers, and leaders at distributors, VARs, and SIs
- Advance Unleash through core AWS programs and competencies, and ensure Marketplace, ACE, and co-sell motions such as deal registration and opportunity management are run with discipline
- Recruit and onboard a small set of high-leverage channel partners who align with our enterprise ICP
- Create simple joint value propositions, sales plays, and enablement that partners can use without friction
- Turn AWS and channel relationships into real sourced and influenced pipeline
- Replicate wins by working with AWS PSMs and channel sellers to identify lookalike accounts and secure warm intros
- Secure and operationalize AWS funding programs, including POC credits, partner funding, and MDF
- Run co branded activities with AWS or channel partners, including roundtables, webinars, content, and field events
- Build a predictable operating rhythm for AWS and channel partners that aligns with sales and product
- Track and report KPIs across pipeline, partner engagement, funding, and Marketplace performance
You might be a fit if you
• Have 4 to 8 years of experience across cloud alliances, AWS programs, or channel development
• Have built revenue motions with both hyperscalers and channel partners
• Understand AWS programs deeply. Marketplace, ACE, PDMs, PSMs, funding, MDF, competencies, and the mechanics behind them
• Have recruited or managed VARs and SIs who delivered actual pipeline
• Are comfortable working at the intersection of sales, marketing, and product
• Can balance relationship building with tactical execution and process discipline
• Communicate clearly and operate independently without waiting for direction
Nice to have
• Background in developer tooling, DevOps, infra, or observability
• Experience with partner enablement or technical alliances
• Familiarity with feature management or experimentation practices
• Enough technical fluency to track integrations and talk comfortably with partner SAs
